The Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon tomato sauce

 

  • 2 tablespoons ketchup

 

  • 2 teaspoons honey

 

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

 

  • Salt (to taste)

 

  • Black pepper (to taste)

 

  • A dash of Tabasco

 

  • ½ teaspoon paprika (sweet or spicy, depending on preference)

 

  • 1 small onion

 

  • ½ small bell pepper (any colour)

 

  • 1 clove garlic

 

  • Olive oil (for frying)

 

Steps:

  1. Prepare the Vegetables: Peel and finely chop the onion, bell pepper, and garlic. Use a food processor or mincer if preferred for a smoother texture.
  2. Cook the Vegetables: Heat a splash of olive oil in a frying pan. Sauté the chopped onion and bell pepper for 5 minutes, then add the garlic and cook for another 8 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool.
