Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie is being courted by “more and more” Premier League teams, according to the Tuttosport tabloid. As a result, the Bianconeri are already negotiating a new deal that would last until 2028.
In recent weeks, the American midfielder has emerged as a semi-regular starter under Thiago Motta after agreeing to a new contract through 2026 last summer.
This season, McKennie has played a variety of positions, including attacking midfielder, holding midfielder, and left-back. The new Bianconeri manager has greatly valued his adaptability.
As reported by Tuttosport, McKennie has attracted interest from Premier League clubs as more and more scouts from England have been spotted at the Allianz Stadium in recent matches.
McKennie already played in England, joining Leeds United on loan in the second part of the 2022-23 campaign, providing one assist in 20 appearances.
However, Juventus are unwilling to let the midfielder go next summer and have already opened preliminary talks over a new deal until 2028. According to the report, McKennie would earn €3m per season with a new contract, which could also include a clause to extend for a further campaign.
