CAF AFRICAN SCHOOLS FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL DRAW REVEALED
The CAF African Schools Football Championship final draw has been revealed at the Ghana Football Association’s (GFA) head office in Accra. Ghana is set to host an exciting championship showdown. The draw of the highly anticipated schools’ championship final 2025 has been conducted, setting the stage for our young players to showcase their talent to the world.
The CAF African Schools Programme is scheduled to take place from Monday, 21st – 26th April 2025 at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium.
Amanda Camini spoke about the access to the bigger platform given to our young players. She encouraged all the players to utilise this opportunity.
The football activities will be held from Wednesday, April 23rd, to Saturday, April 26th, at the University of Ghana Sports Stadium in Accra.
In the girls’ Group A category, the host country, Ghana, faces stiff competition from Morocco, Benin and Malawi.
Group B is the defending champion; South Africa will battle with Uganda, DR Congo and The Gambia.

The event was attended by the Ghanaian and African football legend Asamoah Gyan (Baby Jet).
“I support grassroots football. I did all kinds of sports. Everyone knows where I belong, football”, he revealed.
Gyan further expressed his profound gratitude to CAF for such initiatives and commended all the players who took part in this year’s edition of the CAF African Schools Football Championship final in Ghana.
“Kudos to CAF, the president himself. I am in support. African is blessed to have these kids”, he ended.
In the boys’ group A, the host nation, Ghana, will face stiff competition against Uganda, South Africa and Algeria.
In the Group B category, the defending champions Tanzania face Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire and DR Congo.
