Christopher Nkunku Deal with Bayern Munich is Unlikely
Bayern Munich’s sporting director, Christoph Eberl, has addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding potential transfers in January, particularly regarding highly-rated forward Christopher Nkunku. Eberl acknowledged that the deal for Nkunku, who has been heavily linked with a move to Bayern, is complicated.
He clarified that while Bayern has always been attentive to the market and willing to act when necessary, their current priorities are focused on maintaining the strength of their existing squad. Eberl stated, “We have a squad that is sufficiently equipped in terms of quantity and quality,” reinforcing Bayern’s belief that they are well-prepared for the second half of the season.
