Kurt Okraku Resigns As President of WAFU Zone B
Kurt Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association and Second Vice President of the Confederation of African Football (CAF), has relinquished his position as President of WAFU Zone B. This decision follows his appointment as second vice president of CAF, which has led to an increase in workload.
Due to the demands of managing his roles as GFA President, CAF Second Vice President, and WAFU Zone B President, Okraku found it challenging to devote sufficient time and energy to all three positions. To ensure optimal performance, he has stepped down from the WAFU Zone B presidency.
During his tenure, Okraku achieved notable milestones, including strengthening regional football ties and overseeing key initiatives. His dedication to football administration is expected to continue in his new roles.
