The National Para Athletics Association, in partnership with the National Paralympic Committee (NPC) of Ghana, has advanced its nationwide program aimed at discovering and developing emerging para athletes.
The second edition of the Zone Two Talent Identification Programme took place on Saturday, 30 August 2025, at the Ho Sports Stadium in the Volta Region.
Over 50 aspiring athletes from Ho and the surrounding areas participated in track and field events, along with warm-up drills, under the guidance of coach Sowah and former Paralympian Botsyo Nkegbe.
At the end of the trials, 14 standout athletes were selected to progress into a national training program, where they will be groomed for future competitions.
