Reactions and Feedback:

Mr. Emmanuel Antwi, the race director of the event, expressed his surprise and admiration for the organization and execution of the Colour Run. “This event has been very surprising and even amazed at how the organization was being done. We need to create more opportunities for these kids to exercise and socialize with their friends as well,” he stated. “Next year’s event, which will be the third edition, will be extraordinary. I will take this opportunity to also seek sponsorship for the 2025 Colour Run 5km race, and preparation will begin soon,” he added.

Mrs. Patricia Chikata, the administrator of Woodfield Manor Autism School, highlighted the importance of providing opportunities for children with autism to participate in events like the Colour Run. “Being an autism child doesn’t mean you can’t do anything. We have some students here who are good in information technology (IT). Movenpick has been given us the opportunity to send some of our students to their IT room to show them how they operate things there,” she disclosed in an interview with Richportal TV.

Although dealing with them is very difficult, that’s how they were born. They need us, and we also need them. When we see them in the community, we must treat them very well,” she stated in an exclusive interview with Richard Sekyere.

School’s commitment to inclusion:

Cornelia Boateng Eshun, co-founder of Woodfield Manor Autism School, also highlighted the school’s commitment to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for children with autism. “Our school is open to accepting everyone and supporting these children with special needs. We believe that every child deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, regardless of their abilities,” she concluded.
