Thomas Partey Officially Accused of Serious Sexual Offences by Metropolitan Police
The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) has formally authorized the Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) to charge a man following a thorough investigation and review of the evidence.
According to an official statement from the CPS:
“The Crown Prosecutor’s Office has authorized the Metropolitan Police Service to charge a man after detectives submitted a case file for review.”
Following this decision, the Metropolitan Police has now formally charged Thomas Teye Partey, 32, born on June 13, 1992, and residing in Hertfordshire, with multiple serious offences. Ghanaian international Thomas Partey officially accused of serious sexual offences by the Metropolitan Police Service.
Specifically, Mr. Party is facing:
- Five counts of rape
- One count of sexual assault
The alleged offences are reported to have occurred between 2021 and 2022.
The charges come after a detailed investigation by police detectives who gathered evidence sufficient to meet the legal threshold for prosecution. Mr. Partey will now be required to appear before a court, where the case will proceed through the criminal justice system.
