CAF Announces Draw Procedure for TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco 2024
The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has unveiled the details of the draw procedure for the highly anticipated TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), Morocco 2024.

Venue: Mohammed VI Technical Centre, Salé, Morocco
Qualified Teams and Seeding:
The 12 qualified teams will be seeded into four levels based on their FIFA rankings, ensuring a balanced distribution of teams for the tournament.
Level 1: Morocco (host), Nigeria, South Africa
Level 2: Zambia, Ghana, Tunisia
Level 3: Mali, Senegal, Algeria
Level 4: DR Congo, Tanzania, Botswana
Special Considerations:
Morocco, as the host nation, will occupy position A1.
Defending champions South Africa will take position C1.
The third team in Level 1 will be placed in position B1.
