GAF Half Marathon 2026 Opens Registration

The Ghana Armed Forces (GAF) has officially opened registration for the highly anticipated GAF Half Marathon 2026, inviting members of the public to lace up and take part in a major fitness and wellness event.

The race is scheduled for Saturday, 5 December 2026, at Nicholson Stadium, with proceedings starting at 6:30 a.m.

This maiden year’s event will feature two race categories — the 21.1km Half Marathon and a 5km Run — providing an opportunity for both experienced distance runners and recreational athletes to participate.

Under the theme “Sound Mind in Sound Body,” the GAF Half Marathon seeks to promote physical fitness, healthy living and mental well-being while encouraging the public to embrace running as part of an active lifestyle.
