Accra, Ghana – The Technical Director of the Eric Nkansah Foundation, Coach Paul Tuffour, has disclosed that the Eric Nkansah Foundation has successfully secured a fully funded scholarship for one of Ghana’s rising female sprinting stars, Amanda Yeboah. She will be continuing her academic and athletic journey at a prestigious community college in Kansas, United States.

This significant opportunity follows Amanda’s remarkable athletic performances during her time at St. Louis Senior High School in Kumasi. Her talent became widely recognized after her standout displays at the 2025 Inter-Collegiate Games and the Super Zonals held at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi, in the Ashanti Region. Her speed, determination, and sportsmanship caught the attention of scouts and officials, positioning her as one of the top prospects in Ghana’s athletics scene.

The scholarship is part of the broader mission of the Eric Nkansah Foundation, an organization committed to nurturing and developing young sporting talents across Ghana. The Foundation works diligently to create pathways for gifted student-athletes to pursue higher education while continuing to develop their athletic potential on the global stage.

Coach Paul Tuffour expressed his appreciation to Eric Nkansah, a renowned Ghanaian sprinter and founder of the Foundation, for his unwavering support and vision. “I want to thank Eric Nkansah for this incredible opportunity he continues to create for our young athletes,” Coach Paul stated. “This is only the beginning — there are more scholarship opportunities out there, and in the coming years, many more of our athletes will benefit.”
