TEAM GHANA CONFIRMS PARTICIPATION IN 2026 COMMONWEALTH GAMES

The Commonwealth Games Association (CGA) Ghana has officially confirmed Ghana’s participation in the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, set to be held from July 23 to August 2, 2026, in Glasgow, Scotland.

The announcement marks another significant milestone in Ghana’s sporting journey as the nation prepares to compete against some of the best athletes from across the Commonwealth. Team Ghana is expected to send a delegation of approximately 40 athletes, who will compete in nine sporting disciplines, showcasing the country’s talent, determination, and ambition on the international stage.

Preparations for the Games are already underway, with the CGA Ghana working closely with national sports federations, coaches, and athletes to ensure the team is fully equipped and ready for the challenge ahead. The Association has assured stakeholders, sports enthusiasts, and the Ghanaian public that every effort is being made to provide the athletes with the necessary support and resources to excel in Glasgow.
